OPTO
Opto Line is made of a premium blend of durable plastic in translucent colours. The Opto plastic has been developed to withstand severe punishment and extreme conditions. Discs in this plastic may sometimes contain some sparkles.
GOLD
Gold Line uses the same material as the Opto Line plastic. The addition of a polymer gives Gold Line a better grip without losing the excellent durability of Opto Line. Discs in this plastic are opaque.
OPTO AIR
Opto Air uses the same material as the Opto Line plastic. It is however slightly modified with a different process to achieve a stunning result of lighter weight discs, but keeping the same weight distribution as close as possible to the Opto and Gold Line discs.
OPTO-ICE
Opto-Ice is a premium blend of plastics that provides a stiffness between Opto and Opto-X. It has great durability, and more overstable flights compared to regular Opto.
FROST
Frost is a soft, durable premium plastic with exceptional grip. It's great for disc golf in cold conditions. When the temperature drops, Frost retain more flexibility than other plastics, meaning better grip, more comfort, and more control. Speaking about control, if you need a disc to stop near the basket, Frost will do the trick by grabbing the ground quickly. Expect a more understable flight compared to regular Opto.
ROYAL GRAND
Latitude 64° introduced their Royal Line in 2021 with their innovative NexEdge and NexFeel technologies. The days of sharp flashing are gone as the NexEdge process provides a buttery smooth feel to the bottom and outer parts of the rim. NexFeel is their new polishing technology enhancing the grip and feel of the whole disc surface. These discs are available in Royal Grand plastic and Royal Sense plastic.
Royal Grand is a premium plastic built to be durable, with a soft feel and rigid rim, plus great grip.
ROYAL SENSE
Latitude 64° introduced their Royal Line in 2021 with their innovative NexEdge and NexFeel technologies. The days of sharp flashing are gone as the NexEdge process provides a buttery smooth feel to the bottom and outer parts of the rim. NexFeel is their new polishing technology enhancing the grip and feel of the whole disc surface. These discs are available in Royal Grand plastic and Royal Sense plastic.
Royal Sense is a grippy putter plastic, designed for a sturdy feel.
ZERO
Zero Line is the grippy putter plastic used in Latitude 64°'s putters and approach discs. It is chosen for the good grip and feel you need in your short game. With three different stiffness levels (Soft, Medium, Hard) you will surely find your favourite.
RETRO
Great grip and beginner friendly flights. This is the perfect plastic blend for your first disc. This is also Latitude 64°'s most affordable plastic and breaks in more easily.
MOONSHINE
Moonshine discs are made with the addition of an additive which adds a glow-in-the-dark-effect to the discs. When playing disc golf during night time, all you need is to grab your flashlight, or any other strong light source, and charge up the glow properties of the plastic. Latitude 64° has been using its improved Moonshine formula since 2023.
Additional Information
Some molds of the Gold, Zero and Retro Line plastic are available as "Burst" discs (two colours mixed in a variation of streaks). Some molds of Opto-Ice, Gold and Royal Grand Line plastic are available as "Orbit" discs as a result of a two-colour manufacturing process. Patterns and colour combinations for both effects are unique for each individual disc.
Some molds of Opto Line are available as "Glimmer" discs which have colour shifts combined with a glimmer effect.
With the addition of a glow additive, Opto and Zero Line plastic are sometimes available as Zero Moonshine and Opto Moonshine.
Other plastic types such as Opto-X (a stiffer version of Opto plastic with increased durability and more overstable flights), Opto Chameleon, Opto-X Chameleon and Opto-X Glimmer are generally only available in the Team Series discs and/or limited runs on selected molds.
Most of Latitude 64°'s discs are available in weight ranges starting at 167 grams. They have an Easy-To-Use Line (Ruby, Pearl, Diamond, Jade and Sapphire) for beginners and players with moderate arm speed that are produced in weights under 165 grams.
Discs branded Latitude 64°, Dynamic Discs and Westside Discs (the trio is known as Trilogy) are made in the Latitude 64° factory in Sweden. The following plastic types should be equivalents:
- Retro/Prime/Origio
- Zero/Classic/BT
- Opto/Lucid/VIP
- Gold/Fuzion/Tournament
